George Kaimakliotis & Co. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of audit assignments in accordance with International Standards on Auditing.
• Support the audit team in performing audit procedures for companies across a range of industries.
• Review financial information and assist in assessing compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and legal requirements.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the evaluation of internal controls and identification of areas for improvement.
• Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and supporting documentation.
• Support in the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables.
• Keep up to date with developments in accounting, auditing, and tax regulations.

Requirements

• Recent university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Audit and Assurance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will be considered an advantage.
• Any previous internship or relevant experience will be considered an advantage, but is not required.

• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Assist in payroll processing and related compliance matters, where applicable.
• Liaise with clients to obtain accounting information and supporting documentation.
• Support senior team members in the preparation of financial statements and other deliverables.
• Keep up to date with developments in accounting, tax, and corporate compliance matters.

Requirements

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and professional services.
• A university degree or a diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
